Part demo, part social cooking class, this class is for people transitioning to a plant-based diet or for those who want to learn to highlight vegetables without egg and dairy. There will be some hints and tips on cooking for people with special dietary requirements whether plant-based, vegan or allergies. It’s an opportunity to ask any specific recipe adaptation questions you may have.

For our Summer BBQ class, we are going to focus on base recipes, including the plant-based equivalent of mayo and yoghurt, a multi-purpose eggless batter, perfect for some mock whitebait fritters and a savoury umami marinade that can add rich hearty flavours to your vegetables. These recipes can be used to create common condiments, perfect to dip kofte in or drizzle over a cauliflower steak.
We will finish the class with a shared supper, but please bring some containers to take home leftovers.
Please wear non slip/covered kitchen safe shoes.
This classes is free of Peanut, sesame and almond free and contain no gluten, but please advise of any IgE allergies or dietary restrictions you may have. I may be able to adapt recipes
