My food story is also a story of books from The Hundred Mile Diet to The China Study and many cookbooks in-between. I love books with stories about the people and places the food is from. I find beautiful pictures captivating, and of course, my books are a tremendous source of new ideas and food inspirations. A cookbook doesn’t have to be solely vegetarian or vegan to be inspiring; as I have allergies and food intolerances I usually have to adapt a recipe anyway. A recipe is just a starting point.
